This is JUST AS important as their Business PLan. it’s an Exit Strategy. This is often looked at (and built) within the last 5 years of a business owner’s working years. It SHOULD be designed 20+ years before they want to exit. This too will be modified accordingly as a business climate changes. A solid Succession Plan allows the owner(s) to exit WHEN they want, HOW they want.
